James Tarkowski has signed a four-year contract with Everton, the Toffees' official website confirms.
The centre-back who has two England caps joins Everton as a free agent after leaving Burnley.
In the last five seasons, Tarkowski was a regular starter at Turf Moor, making over 30 Premier League appearances per campaign. Last season, however, he could not help his side escape relegation.
The 29-year-old is the first signing for Everton this summer. The club has issues with complying with the Financial Fair Play regulations even after selling Richarlison to Tottenham, so we're yet to see if Frank Lampard's side will welcome more new players.
