Barcelona want Memphis Depay to give up no.9 shirt and hand it to Robert Lewandowski

Barcelona have announced agreement with Bayern Munich for the €45 million transfer or Robert Lewandowski.

However, the La Liga giants have delayed the striker's official unveiling until they can sort out his shirt number at the club.

According to Sport, a Spanish source, Barca want Lewandowski to wear the no.9 jersey, which is currently occupied by Memphis Depay.

The Dutchman has been deemed surplus to requirements by Xavi and could join Tottenham this summer, thus freeing up the shirt for Lewandowski.
