Man United remain convinced that Christian Eriksen's move to Old Trafford is imminent, ESPN reports.
The Danish midfielder has verbally agreed a three-year contract with the Red Devils.
While Brentford head coach Thomas Frank expressed hope Eriksen could be convinced to return to the London club, it appears unlikely now.
Eriksen is set to undergo medicals shortly and while he won't sign the deal in time to take on Liverpool in a friendly in Thailand, he could join the squad in Australia where they'll head shortly afterwards.
