Bayern Munich has had their opening offer of around €60m for Matthijs de Ligt rejected by Juventus, claims Goal’s, Romeo Agresti.
There is still quite a lot of distance between the club’s valuation for the defender, but they will keep talking on the deal.
Bayern’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has even travelled to Turin himself to personally negotiate the deal.
The German giants are quite eager to get a deal done, but will have to pay a major fee to get it done.
Juve are reportedly looking for something near €80m-€90m to finalize an agreement after De Ligt rejected a new contract from them.
