'Liverpool can polish any turd to acceptable standard these days': United fans can't stop talking about Nunez

Darwin Nunez has not even played an official game for Liverpool but his pre-season cameos are already trending on social media.

The striker has not yet scored in his 60 minutes on the field so far for Liverpool, missing a big chance against Crystal Palace yesterday.

Pre-season games are just meant for match fitness, training and finding some chemistry with your teammates.

However, logic is not Manchester United fans' strong suit, as they have been discussing Nunez non-stop on their forum, the Red Cafe. Here are some comments on the Liverpool striker:

Adisa: "He might be a great player but the people who said he's a bit of a donkey were spot on. Looks so awkward on the ball. Reminds me so much of Lukaku."

I still think they have massively overpaid for him but Liverpool seem to be able to polish any turd to an acceptable standard these days. If if he was shit I wouldn't be surprised to see them sell him for £100m in 2 years somehow."
