Paris Saint-Germain have informed Leo Messi about their plan to extend his current deal for one more year, until 2024, per Marca.
The Parisians are interested in keeping the 35-year-old both at a sporting and an economic levels. As a reminder, Messi's PSG arrival brought the club 10 new sponsorship contracts.
Messi is expected to make the decision after the 2022 World Cup that ends in December. The Argentine will have a better understanding of who he is as a player by that time.
The Barca legend has scored 11 goals and provided 15 assists in 34 appearances for PSG so far.
