Sergio Busquets entourage have practically ruled out the possibility of another deferment of salaries being owed to the player, as per CAT Radio.
Barcelona owes Busquets €50m in deferred wages and also wants him to lower his salary this season.
The idea is for Busi to sign a new contract until the summer of 2024 and have the deferred wages paid in instalments until 2024.
That plan has now hit a wall as the midfielder wants to leave the club in 2023, which means Barca must pay Busquets €50m before the end of 2023.
The only alternative for Barca is to convince Busquets to extend his contract.
