Xavi does not trust Jordi Alba anymore, per CatRadio. The Barca boss is particularly worried about the left-back's defensive output. The 33-year-old didn't impress against Rayo Vallecano and got subbed off for the game against Real Sociedad.
Only Alejandro Balde and Sergino Dest can currently replace Alba on the left side. However, Barcelona could soon add either Marcos Alonso or Javi Galan to their roster.
Earlier, Xavi made Gerard Pique an out-of-favour player despite his decent performances in 2021/22.
