Barcelona have released an official announcement "categorically denying" the report from Diari Ara regarding Gerard Pique trying to buy a part of Barca studios.
"The club deeply regrets the dissemination of unsubstantiated information that affects the image and respectability of FC Barcelona players," the concluding part reads.
Obviously, this is not the first fake rumour spread about a Barca player. However, this does paint Pique in a very bad light, since owning part of the club would violate Barca's ethics code.
It is only right that the Catalans came out to deny the report.
