Real Madrid have officially confirmed that Karim Benzema has suffered an injury on the semitendinosus muscle and an overload on the quadriceps in his right thigh.
The club does not name the expected date of Benzema's return, saying it will depend on his recovery.
Reports have it that the Frenchman will be out for 7 to 10 days. He would thus miss the matches against Mallorca and RB Leipzig.
