Klopp confirms Henderson injury, provides update on deadline day transfers

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Jordan Henderson was subbed off against Newcastle due to a hamstring injury and also spoke about possible deadline day transfers

“I don't think so, but as long as there is time we should not close the door completely.

“Obviously Hendo is injured, he got a hamstring [injury], which is absolutely not helpful. I don’t think so."

He added: "[It was] that serious that he couldn’t carry on, so it was no tactical change."

James Pearce has also reported that he would be a major doubt for Saturday's Merseyside derby against Everton.
