Speaking to the reporters about the Kopa Trophy voting, Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann said: "Of course, you always have your club-tinted glasses on.
"But generally I also have my own opinion. I would have voted in a different way.
"In my opinion, Jamal Musiala and Jude Bellingham have had a better season than the winner. From my point of view, both are ahead of Gavi.
"Of course he's a great player with a lot of talent. It was not undeserved on his part. He has an extreme winning mentality for his age."
Barcelona's Gavi controversially claimed the Kopa Trophy, awarded to the best player below the age of 21, at the Ballon d'Or ceremony on Monday.
Arsenal fans was were frustrated with the voting due to the fact that Bukayo Saka, a key player for both the Gunners in England, finished only in 8th place.
