Benzema set to miss 8th game this season as he skips final training ahead of Rayo clash

Karim Benzema did not train with the rest of the team on Sunday ahead of the game against Rayo Vallecano, La Sexta's Jose Luis Sanchez reports.

The Real Madrid striker is thus expected to miss the match against Rayo. It will be the eighth match that Benzema misses due to injury this term.

So far, Benzema has recorded 6 goals and one assist in 12 matches for Madrid.

Besides Benzema, Antonio Rudiger will also be unavailable for the game.
