As it stands, Chelsea are seventh in the Premier League table, five points away from the top four with a game in hand over Tottenham who are currently four.
The season has not yet reached its halfway mark, but Chelsea's prospects in the race for the Champions League places are already in question.
There's no tangible progress in performance levels under the new head coach, and the results have started to reflect that as the Blues have suffered two defeats in a row.
