"There is an English expression, there’s a lot of water to flow under the bridge until February," Chelsea director David Barnard said when asked about the Blues facing Dortmund in February.
"You've got World Cup and the transfer window, so when we do meet each other (Dortmund) in February, it could be two totally different teams if we were to play tomorrow."
Chelsea faces Dortmund in the Champions League Round of 16 tie. The Blues spent £278.4m on signings in the summer but apparently, the transfer campaign is not over yet.
Chelsea is currently seventh in the league table and it's certainly below Todd Boehly's ambitions.
