Pedri reacts to meeting childhood idol Iniesta in person

Pedri grew up idolizing Andres Iniesta, and now he's had the opportunity to shake the veteran's hand as the Barcelona legend paid a visit to Spain's camp in Qatar on Thursday.

The 19-year-old had a chat with Iniesta and also took some pictures with him. Interestingly, Barca's vice-captain Jordi Alba was behind the camera.

Afterwards, Pedri confessed to the national team's official media that it was an honour to meet Andres.

"For me, it is a moment of pride to be meeting my idol who I watched playing football on TV. I enjoyed it very much, he is really a great person and I'm very happy to meet him," the youngster said.

Pedri previously revealed that he talked to Iniesta on Instagram but was yet to meet him in person.
