Spain coach Luis Enrique is rooting for Argentina to win the World Cup after watching his team fall to less fancied Morocco side in the round of 16.
“Now that we are eliminated, let's see if Argentina gets to where it deserves,” Enrique told reporters.
Before the World Cup Enrique tipped Argentina to win the trophy if Spains fails to do it.
"If we don’t win, I would like Argentina to,” Enrique said. “It would be unfair for a player like Leo Messi to retire without winning one.”
Argentina must overcome the hurdle of the Netherlands on Friday if they are to stand any chance of winning the trophy.
