FIFA has officially unveiled a list of 10 goals which the 2022 World Cup Goal of the tournament will be picked from.

The Qatar World Cup did not disappoint with Lionel Messi's Argentina having the final say after an epic final against France.

Messi's rasping effort against Mexico has however been overlooked in the FIFA list with Richarlison's acrobatic effort for Brazil against Serbia the frontrunner to bag the award.

The Tottenham Hotspur striker has been nominated twice having been on the end of a wonderful team goal against Switzerland.

Cameroon's Vincent Aboubakar's audacious chip against Serbia is also a strong contender for the award.

Golden Boot winner Kylian Mbappe will also have a say on the award after his round of 16 goal against Poland was also nominated. His PSG teammate Neymar's goal against Croatia has also been shortlisted.

There were a few direct freekicks goals scored in Qatar and one of them was Mexico's Luis Chavez's effort from way out against Saudia Arabia.
