Messi's Argentina's Party Continues As Mbappe Resumes With PSG

French star Kylian Mbappe has made his way back to Paris Saint-Germain, barely three days after the World Cup final heartbreak he suffered on Sunday, December 18.

Mbappe, who only recently turned 24, was the star of the show for France in the final as he bagged an impressive hat-trick, to help his side force Argentina to a penalty shootout when it looked like La Albiceleste had ran away with the game with a 2-0 lead.

Despite the heartbreak, he ended up thriving at the World Cup, winning the Golden Boot for scoring eight goals in the competition.

The World Cup defeat happened to come just days before his birthday, but it seems celebrating turning 24 might have elevated his mood a little bit.

PSG shared an image of Mbappe on their social media with the caption:

Daily Mail further reports the Frenchman was asked how he was doing after the World Cup, and his reply was short but concise, "Better, better, better."

Messi and Argentina’s World Cup winners have been greeted by thousands of fans in Buenos Aires – despite arriving home at 2am local time.
