Chelsea have officially finalized the signing of David Datro Fofana from Molde, the club have confirmed.
The Ivorian striker has signed a six-year contract that will keep him at Chelsea until the summer of 2029. There's an option to extend by a further year. Chelsea paid £10.5m to pry Fofana away from Molde.
In a message to Chelsea fans on the club's website, Fofana said: "Hello dear fans, I’m here, I’ve arrived well and I’m very happy to sign for the club of my dreams. I’ll see you soon on the pitch, cheers!"
The 20-year-old striker is expected to add some bite to Chelsea's attack particularly with the injury to Armando Broja, Christian Pulisic and Raheem Sterling,
