'It will not be rotation': Klopp tells fans to expect strongest lineup vs Wolves

"We played Monday last time and now Saturday and then I think again Saturday," Jurgen Klopp told a press conference when asked if we can see a different Liverpool side in the FA Cup game with Wolves.

"So it was always clear we will line up as good and strong and experienced as we can – but we actually always did, just it looked sometimes a bit different. But always the best possible line-up for the specific game.

"With Monday-Saturday, it will not be rotation because of the competition or whatever."

So, there will be no wholesale change in the team as the Reds start their FA Cup title defence.

Virgil van Dijk's injury means a new centre-back partnership, however, while it's also interesting to see if Cody Gakpo will start in his first game for Liverpool.
