New contract talks scheduled with Jorginho, 2 European clubs 'lie in wait'
Chelsea are not giving up on keeping Jorginho at the club beyond this summer when his current contract expires.
According to journalist Matteo Moretto, a new round of negotiations has been scheduled for this month.
Jorginho's priority has always been staying at Chelsea. However, he rejected an initial proposal from the Blues and wants a slight pay increase from £120,000-a-week to £150,000-a-week, the Evening Standard adds.
Napoli and Barcelona are monitoring the situation. The Italian club would be leading the race for their former player in case the contract talks with Chelsea fall through.
