Talksport claim that Liverpool do not have any funds available for new signings after spending their entire January transfer budget on Cody Gakpo.
The Reds paid around £37m to sign the Dutch international from PSV.
Talksport add that Liverpool would have loved to sign a new midfielder, with Ruben Neves their first-choice option this month. However, the arrival of Gakpo means the Reds have no money to spend.
