"we were simply celebrating our victory over rivals Manchester United": Arsenal fans arrested in Uganda for celebrating Man United win

As Arsenal are closing in on winning our first-ever Premier League title since 2004, celebrations are getting a tad out of hand.

In Uganda, eight fans were arrested for public demonstrations that got a little too wild to celebrate the Gunners' thrilling 3-2 win over Manchester United.

Those arrested were seen wearing the club's home kit and holding a fake league trophy. They were travelling in five big vehicles before being arrested.

As per authorities, they didn't have permission to perform in public and that was deemed an offence.

Baker Kasule, one among those arrested, told reporters: "I don't know what we have done but we were simply celebrating our victory over rivals Manchester United."
