FA launch investigation into Mudryk saying N-word in 2022 TikTok video
The FA have opened an investigation into Mykhaylo Mudryk using an N-word in a TikTok video. They will decide if the Chelsea attacker has to be punished, The Athletic reports.
The Ukrainian was reciting a song by rapper Lil Baby which contained the N-word. He filmed the video in July last year and it emerged on social media on Friday night.
The forward has made an apology.
“Mykhailo is deeply sorry for any offence caused,” the statement by his representative reads.
“While his intention was solely to recite lyrics of a song, Mykhailo regrets his decision and wholeheartedly accepts it was not appropriate.”
