Gabby Agbonlahor thinks Chelsea should sack Graham Potter for post-match interview

talkSport pundit Gabby Agbonlahor has suggested that Chelsea should sack Graham Potter for his post-match interview after a 1-0 loss to Southampton at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues lost their second match in the space of four days following a dismal defeat to managerless Southampton. James Ward-Prowse scored the only goal of the game with another wonderful free-kick.

On Tuesday, they were beaten by the same scoreline by Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

At full time, there was a chorus of boos as the home fans let their feelings known to Potter.

The former Brighton boss was only appointed in September but they're now winless in five matches in all competitions - winning just once in their last 10.

Given Chelsea's history of sacking managers, there is now enormous pressure on Potter to turn things around.

However, some believe he should be sacked already.

That includes talkSPORT pundit, Agbonlahor.

Potter gave a post-match interview to the radio station in which he bemoaned Chelsea's changes.

It left pundits Jamie O'Hara and Agbonlahor in disbelief.

"This man, Graham Potter, is he winding me up? Talking about 'It is what it is' and 'We had to make a few changes.' He's at Chelsea Football Club. Have you seen their line-up today? An unreal team."

Agbonlahor chipped in: "Jamie, he should be sacked for that post-match interview."

"'We've had to make some changes because of the Champions League. We've had to bring some players in against a settled side, an organised side'. What are you talking about? They haven't got a manager. You're playing against a team in disarray that can't get back-to-back wins. And you're complaining that you had to bring [Mykhailo] Mudryk on, you had to start [Joao] Felix. Are you joking me? Poor Graham."

What did Potter say after Chelsea 0-1 Southampton?

What else did Potter say after Chelsea's defeat to Southampton?

"After a 1-0 defeat at home, any criticism you get is understandable," said Potter. "We've had a tough period and lots of challenges in terms of integrating young players in the Premier League.

"When you don't get results, it can be tough. That's how it is. Some people will think I'm the problem. I don't think they're right but that doesn't mean they can't articulate their views.

"We took a step back in terms of our performance in the first half. The response in the second half was good but not good enough."
