Leeds 0-2 Man Utd: De Gea & Rashford 8, Weghorst 3: United player ratings in Leeds win

The Red Devils earned three points at Elland Road thanks to late goals by Rashford and Garnacho.

De Gea: 8/10. Probably the only reason why United were still in the game when Rashy scored. Made several good saves, in particular on Summerville with eleven minutes to go. Nearly caused a goal after his poor kick was intercepted in United's third though but overall, another great display.

Rashford: 8. It had to be him, right? Managed to find space in-between two Leeds defenders inside the box and head the ball into the net, winning the game for United.

Garnacho: 7. Sealed the victory for the Red Devils with a brilliant finish. Brilliant substitution again.

Shaw: 7. Great first touch and delivery as he assisted Rashford's goal. Solid at the back, too.

Sabitzer: 6.5. Invisible throughout the game with one crucial exception: his brilliant ball to Luke Shaw before the Rashford goal. Passes like these are precisely the reason he was signed. Not a good performance overall but made the difference when needed the most.

Fred: 6.5. The Brazilian getting booked early on was a big worry but he did quite well in these 70 minutes he was on a yellow, looking rather lively.

Dalot: 6. Really unlucky not to score with a bullet from the edge of the box just after the hour's mark. Didn't really make his overlapping runs for some reason so a quiet game from him.

Malacia: 4. Left a lot of space on the left-hand side for Leeds forwards to invade into. Was running around in no-man's-land whenever he tried to get forward.

Fernandes: 4. Tried really hard but couldn't finish his chances — he really should have scored the one-on-one against Meslier in the first half.

Maguire: 3. His lapse in concentration nearly led to Leeds scoring in the first half but he recovered the ball well at that time. Still, looked very shaky throughout the game.

Weghorst: 3. Was simply inexistent throughout the game. One may argue United are not playing to his strengths but he's not really helping his cause. Thought he scored his first United goal very late in the game but it was disallowed for offside.

Others: Sancho 5.5, Wan-Bissaka 6.5, Martinez 7; Elanga N/A
