Graham Potter's first words to the media appear on social media - and the manager does not break the character even as Chelsea keep falling further.
"The players were there on the pitch, they gave it everything," Potter told Sky Sports as he often does after disappointing results. "The goals made it difficult for us."
He added: "Whenever you hear that, I know the responsibility. It's not good enough for this club. I take full responsibility for those results. It isn't good enough for Chelsea."
