Joao Felix asked point-blank whether he wants to stay at Chelsea

Speaking to the reporters on Monday, Joao Felix said: "If I want to stay or not, the future nobody knows. I am only focused on tomorrow's game.

"After that, we don't know what will happen. I am here and the club is so big, it's amazing. Everyone behind the club is so good so I am happy to be here.

"I'm here to play my football and help the club. We will try to win trophies and I will fight for that. I am on loan but I want to play, help, score, and win."

Felix, who is set to start against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday, will surely want to keep playing in the elite continental competition next season.

The Portuguese is on loan at Chelsea until the end of the 2022/23 campaign and the Blues will have to negotiate with Atletico Madrid if the want to sign him on a permanent transfer this summer.
