The Athletic report that Liverpool 'admire' Josko Gvardiol. They would like to sign the World Cup sensation but a move is very unlikely.
The key reason is that it would take a sizeable fee to land the Leipzig centre-back. Liverpool prioritise strengthening their midfield in the summer.
Gvardiol's contract has a €110m release clause.
The Reds want to add a new centre-back as a cover for the current players.
