But amongst the thousands of fans dressed in red and blue filtering into the home of football, an eagle eyed supporter spotted Ajax star Timber walking along Wembley Way too.
Last summer, now-Man United boss Erik ten Hag was the defender's manager at Ajax.
But the Dutchman was unable to bring the 21-year-old with him to Old Trafford, despite Timber claiming he was expecting to leave the Eredivisie club this time last year.
Now though, Ajax are open to offers for their defender, as per The Mirror, meaning Man United are in a position to go for the star once again.
Ten Hag has already begun the rebuild at Old Trafford he was brought in to do last summer following his move from the Netherlands, with a League Cup win already under his belt.
Not to mention Man United will be playing Champions League football next season.
And Red Devils fans will be hoping that a win on Saturday can convince Timber the red side of Manchester is where he should have the next chapter of his career.
