Chelsea fans come up with brutal chant for Mason Mount, they don't hold back
Chelsea fans have come up with a brutal chant for Mason Mount following his transfer to Premier League rivals Manchester United.
Mount left Chelsea for Man United this summer in a transfer worth up to £60 million.
He failed to agree terms with the Blues as he signed for the Red Devils, but the player hasn't hit the ground running.
The 24-year-old endured a difficult league debut for Man United against Wolves, with his statistics making for damning reading.
And he was unable to impress in his side's 2-0 defeat at Tottenham, with Chelsea fans thinking he's regretting leaving the club.
Chelsea supporters have also come up with a chant about their former star, with a video emerging ahead of their league fixture against West Ham United.
Footage shows fans mocking the England international, claiming he moved away from the club for the money.
Chelsea fans sang: "Who’s that twat who comes from Portsmouth, who’s that money grabbing wh*re?!
"Mason Mount is his name and he hasn’t got a brain, and he won’t be winning trophies anymore"
Mount won the Champions League, Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup during his spell at Chelsea as he now calls Man United home.
But he's yet to impress in a Man United shirt, with his latest showing slammed by Roy Keane, who hit out at his performance on Saturday.
On Sky Sports, he said: "When I look at Mount and Fernandes, out of possession they look like schoolboys.
"They haven’t got the physicality to get the ball back. We make excuses all the time for them, we’re told Ten Hag is a brilliant coach but we need to see it.
"They looked flat here. I’d like to know what they’re doing on the training pitch. Are they over-training? They don’t look full of energy.
"Every time I watch United, towards the end of games they’ve got a goal in them but I didn’t feel that today. When it was 1-0 or 2-0, I thought it’s game over and I genuinely never felt like that with this Man United team."
Mount will be looking to impress when Man United resume their campaign on Saturday against Nottingham Forest.
