Christian Pulisic scores a stunning goal for USA vs Germany in international friendly

Christian Pulisic continued his impressive goalscoring form at international level by netting a stunning strike for the USA against Germany.

Having picked up the ball over on the left flank, the former Chelsea star cut inside wonderfully before sending a right-footed effort into the top corner that beat Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

The 25-year-old departed Stamford Bridge this summer as he joined Italian outfit AC Milan. He has so far scored four goals in eight Serie A appearances this season.

Pulisic now also has four goals in his latest seven appearances for the USA, marking his 63rd cap at international level in impressive style.

Ilkay Gundogan levelled things up shortly before the break, with the score 1-1 at the break in Connecticut.

Fans quickly jumped to the praise of Pulisic online, with one fan writing: ''People start to perform after leaving Chelsea.''

Another joked: ''That’s the Lebron James of soccer right there.''

''Wow this guy has been thriving since leaving Chelsea,'' said another supporter.

The former Borussia Dortmund winger was also keen to admit recently following his exit from Chelsea that he felt opportunities in the side had been hard to come by.

"Of course. I’d like to think so," he told ESPN when asked if he could have been given more chance to prove himself.

"Of course there are definitely times where I wish I could’ve gotten more of an opportunity and been that guy but yeah, for whatever reason, that’s not the case and like I said, I’m just so excited for this new challenge and I’m definitely ready and up for it."

"I think he [Stefano Pioli] made me feel like he wanted me here, he wanted me to be a part of this team and he saw me fitting into this team and that’s what I wanted to hear.
