The president hails the fantastic goalkeeper after previously revealing he signed a five-year contract.
"Ter Stegen will sign a new contract with us. He’ll stay here. He’s a fantastic goalkeeper," Josep Maria Bartomeu has just revealed to Barca TV.
Two weeks ago, the president said the goalkeeper agreed to extend his current deal with Barcelona until 2025.
The German underwent knee surgery earlier on Tuesday and he is now set to return to action in late October.
