Josep Maria Bartomeu has decided to resign as a result of the emergency meeting at Barcelona this evening, TyC Sports have just said.

It's the same source who broke the news on Leo Messi's decision to leave first.

BeIN Sports have also reported on Bartomeu's potential resignation, saying the president 'seriously considers' this as an option.

It remains to be seen whether the president's exit would possibly change the Argentinian mind yet it's been claimed that Messi is 'furious' with the current board.
