Roma 'interested' in signing Chelsea midfielder Jorginho

According to Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, Roma is interested in signing Jorginho.

The report states that Juventus were very keen on signing the midfielder but the move fell through when Maurizio Sarri was sacked.

Roma has now taken this opportunity to express their interest in the former Napoli man and could make a bid soon.

According to The Times, Chelsea are willing to offload as many as 9 players as they plan on funding incoming transfers through player sales - Jorginho is on that list.

No price has been quoted, but Transfermarkt value the 28-year-old at €52M - we'd be glad to get that much for the Italian international!
