Araujo reveals Barcelona are tweaking their tactics to adapt to teams pressing high against them.

Araujo says he's trying to learn from Koeman, a great centre-back in his times.

"We are changing because the teams push us very high. We are adapting to new ideas in order to achieve the best possible result for what the coach wants," Ronald Araujo has told the media following Barcelona's 3-1 win over Girona.

"He told me to be calm, and I always try to learn from Ronald Koeman. Personally, I work to be in the first team. I worked hard at Barca B and the fact that I'm with the first team is evidence of that.

"There are great defenders here so my goal, I repeat, is to keep working to fight for a starting position."

Araujo was one of the two players that played full 90 minutes against Girona. He partnered with Gerard Pique and Clement Lenglet during that game. Perhaps the coach will look to give the Uruguayan more opportunities this season.

Last term, the Uruguay international managed 6 matches for Barca and 22 for Barca B.
