Barcelona new midfielder Miralem Pjanic speaks of his first impression under Ronald Koeman

A lot has happened in Barcelona in the past year with the 8-2 defeat in the hand of Bayern Munich among the worst.

Due to last year disaster, a lot of changes has been going on with the club changing coach's and selling off heavyweight player and signing of new one.

Barca's new boy Miralem Pjanic appears to admire the boss a lot.

"Koeman has made a great impression on me, a person very focused on work, clear with his ideas and I think the training sessions are of tremendous intensity," Miralem Pjanic told L'Esportiu.

"Physically we are reaching a good tone."

Barcelona won all three pre-season friendlies under Ronald Koeman. Pjanic was only able to help the Catalans beat Elche over the weekend.

The 30-year-old is now likely to feature in Barca's La Liga opener against Villarreal on Sunday.
