Liverpool manager remembers that his team had to suffer a lot against Chelsea last season.
He speaks about Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic, who's a doubt for the game.
The other player is Kai Havertz: Klopp knows from from watching the Bundesliga.
"There's plenty of threats, they've signed really well and already had an unbelievably good team," Jurgen Klopp told Sky Sports ahead of the Sunday showdown. "We had to suffer a lot against them in the games last season.
"Christian Pulisic obviously wasn't involved but he'll probably be fit for the game, Mason Mount and I know Kai Havertz from the Bundesliga - he will play a proper role this season.
"There's so many good players up front, in midfield, the defensive line and the full-backs - there's not a biggest threat, Chelsea themselves are the threat - that's how it is in football."
Interestingly, Klopp made no mention of Timo Werner, the striker who looked sharp on the first matchday of the 2020/21 season. The German forward could well join Liverpool, and it probably stings Klopp a bit that he got away.
The game at Stamford Bridge this weekend is a chance for Chelsea to make a statement of intent: as Klopp acknowledges, the Blues looked well in both encounters last season but couldn't quite make the final step - their time might be coming now after a huge transfer campaign.
