Manchester United boss Ole hint on Bailly's chances to start against Brighton

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is extremely pleased that Bailly is fully fit once again.

He is excited to see him play more games for United this season.

Speaking ahead of the game against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “Eric (Bailly) now is fit again, which is a big, big bonus. A plus for us.

I'm looking forward to see him develop + play more games this season. We've been waiting for him.”

He also gave a strong hint that Eric Bailly might start alongside Harry Maguire on Saturday, further saying: “I think our defensive record from last season showed with Eric and Harry how good a partnership they were.”

Bailly was one of United’s star performers in the Carabao Cup win over Luton Town in mid-week and definitely made a case for starting over Victor Lindelof on a more regular basis.

The Ivorian seems a perfect fit alongside Maguire and deserves a start to help keep a better defensive shape against Brighton.
