Manchester United out favored Goalkeeper Romero interested in joining Everton to challenge Jordan Pickford

The Argentine has fallen down to third-choice goalkeeper after Dean Henderson’s return.

Sergio Romero is considering a move to Everton after having fallen out of favour at Man United, as per The Times.

The Argentine is interested in challenging England no.1 Jordan Pickford for the Merseyside club and possibly getting game-time in the Premier League.

While there have been no discussions between the two clubs, Everton have contacted intermediaries to talk about a potential move.

United reportedly want to earn ‘a substantial fee’ from selling Romero which is making it difficult for them to sell him.

The Argentine has also attracted interested from Valencia but United probably won’t let him go for anything less than £10m.
