The Dutchman has reportedly made a risky decision to offload the La Masia graduate.
Riqui Puig has been left 'surprised' and 'disappointed' by Ronald Koeman’s decision on his exit from Barcelona, sources close to the 21-year-old told Cadena SER.
On Friday, the Catalans' head coach reportedly told the La Masia graduate to find himself a new club as he doesn't fit his playing system.
As per SER's report, the midfielder didn't expected such a U-turn as Barca told him earlier that he would spend the 2020/21 season at Camp Nou.
Catalan outlet SPORT add that Puig rejected the idea of leaving the Blaugrana on loan in the summer but could rethink his stance now.
