7 noticeable changes from Chelsea playesr and takeaways from Palace thrashing

The Blues win 4-0 and there were plenty of positives today!

Mendy comes clutch: Chelsea have kept a clean sheet in the Premier League for the first time this season! Although Mendy did not have a lot to do, he was sharp - as were Thiago Silva and Zouma, who kept Palace shut.

Chilwell's debut: Easily the man of the match! Some brilliant crossing, fantastic movement in the final third and some insane energy from Ben Chilwell as he scored one and assisted another goal. A game to remember.

Jorginho's great display: He missed against Liverpool but made up for it today with a penalty brace. Even otherwise, the midfielder was on fire as he sprayed passes across the field.

Werner needs to be better: We don't want to dwell too much on the negatives but the striker looks a little clueless at times. Some good movement, but the final product is still lacking - but we'll wait, as we know what Werner can do when he gets firing.

Best centre-back pairing?: Silva starting is a no-brainer, but did Zouma prove to us that he should get the nod as our first-choice centre-back? 1 tackle, 1 interception and 2 clearances to go with a towering headed goal - what a game for Zouma!

Better passing needed: The second half was amazing but it all started with a Palace error. We need to be more direct with our passes - Kai Havertz might come in handy down the line, but our midfielders need to take more risks with their passing.

Confidence heading into the international break: The bottom line is this - 3 points and much-needed confidence for Lampard and his men. Our next game will be in 2 weeks time and this was the best possible way to end before the break!
