Ex-Blue Leboeuf: 'I’m not convinced about Havertz

Ex Chelsea defender Leboeuf has stressed his dissatisfaction with Chelsea new signing Kai Havertz saying "I’m not convinced about Havertz, I’m not that optimistic," but professed content with German striker Timo "I’m very pleased with Werner, he’s a real satisfaction.

Leboeuf also pointed out that Chelsea missed veteran centre-back, Thiago Silva saying that the Blues lacked a real leader at the back and that is their major problem.

Chelsea played one of their best football of the season in the first 30 minutes of the 3-3 draw against Southampton on Saturday. The Blues took a 2-0 lead, thanks to two first-half brace from Timo Werner, and looked fantastic overall.

However, things took a different turn in the second half, as Southampton equalised before Havertz scored Chelsea's third goal but that was not enough to seal a victory for them as they conceded very late in the game.
