Revealed: Barcelona teenage Ansu Fati has become the most expensive Spanish player

Fati's price has tripled over the course of 12 months.

In October, Ansu Fati's market value as increased from €50m to €80m, as per Transfermarkt.

The 17-year-old is currently the most expensive Spanish player, beating Saul Niguez (€70m), Rodri (€64m), Koke (€60m) and Mikel Oyarzabal (€60m).

He is also the second-most-expensive player at Barcelona, only behind Leo Messi (€100m); he has the same market value as Antoine Griezmann.

Back in September 2019, when he was making his first steps at the senior team, Fati was valued at €25m.

As a reminder, Ansu's release clause increased from €170m to €400m when he was promoted to the first team back in September.
