Barcelona President Laporta give reason for Griezmann's loan move to Atletico

In his latest interview with TV3, Joan Laporta revealed the condition for Antoine Griezmann's move to Atletico Madrid to become permanent.

"If Griezmann plays 50% of the games he's available for Atletico, he will be bought by the Colchoneros. We put a clause like that so that Atletico can recruit him later and facilitate their salary cap," the Barcelona president said.

As a reminder, the Frenchman has formally returned to his ex-club on loan.

Big surprises aside, it's difficult to imagine Griezmann not featuring in at least half of the matches Atletico will play this season. It appears that his return to Camp Nou is virtually ruled out.
