Xavi discuss Luuk de Jong performance after Clasico goal

"How do you expect me to put Luuk de Jong out of the starting line-up? He's scoring goals, he's helping us," Xavi said after the loss against Real Madrid.

"If he plays, it's because he deserves it, that’s how things are at Barcelona. If he keeps performing like this, he'll continue playing."

Luuk has scored three goals in his latest three starts for Barcelona. For the Clasico, Xavi picked the 31-year-old ahead of Memphis Depay.

This term so far, Luuk de Jong has played 15 games for Barca, scoring four goals.
