In the aftermath of Barca's 1-0 defeat to Rayo Vallecano, Barca football advisor Jordi Cruyff was asked if Frenkie de Jong was on his way out of the club following the substitution saga.
"We will not sell Frenkie de Jong, he’s a player valued highly within the club,” was Cruyff's response.
Rumours continue to grow about Manchester United's interest in the Dutch midfielder. Particularly with a Dutch manager coming in.
It's up to Barca to sell or keep the midfielder, as he has a contract until 2026.
