However, the decision had already been made and there was no going back for Pique.

The singer 'loved' the defender so much that she was ready to forgive his infidelity.

The report claims this wasn't the first time Shakira had endured Pique's discrepancies with other women.

The pair announced their breakup last week, but the decision to go their separate ways after 11 years together was made in March.
