Ben White left England camp due to 'bust-up' with coach and not personal reasons

According to the Daily Star, Ben White did not leave the England camp at the World Cup due to personal reasons as initially stated.

The Arsenal defender was reportedly unhappy and even got into a bust-up with coach Steve Holland.

The duo got into an argument during a team meeting ahead of facing the United States, which led to White's early return to the United Kingdom.

The argument is believed to have been about Ben's stats and Holland was 'less than impressed' with the 25-year-old's lack of knowledge about the US team.

White was also not able to gel well with his teammates, except for former Leeds United teammate Kalvin Phillips.

Fortunately, it appears there is nothing wrong in his personal life but he did not play a single minute in Qatar in his first World Cup campaign.
